"Haven’t used this in the water yet but this hat fits wonderfully and it looks high quality. The brim is not as wide as some of Solbari’s hats but I feel like it will offer enough protection. The drawstring is handy for being in windy conditions. Only thing is it’s a bit pointy out the sides from being folded but I assume this will relax with use/time."
"I recently had treatment for pre-cancerous spots on my face and since I'm an avid beach goer, decided I needed a great hat I can wear in the water. This is it! The brim is wide enough to cover my face and easily adjustable with the wire edge. The sizing is perfect (I'm 58.5cm and got the S/M) and the material is incredibly comfortable. In fact it's way more comfortable and a better fit than the Resort Wide Brim hat. I just rinse it under cold water after the beach, otherwise you get salt stains on it. It does look a little like a school hat, particularly in the navy but it's positives far outweigh any negatives."

It’s the only hat i have ever owned that doesn’t blow off in the wind and yet the elasticity of the adjustment doesn’t isn’t uncomfortable. I wear at the pool in aqua fitness class and at the beach. "I now have 2 of these hats - white and now navy. They are very comfortable and provide great sun protection. They dry quickly if they get wet, and the chin strap is very useful when in windy conditions. I use this hat for kayaking and the brim is firm enough in windy conditions. My original white hat is still going strong years later. The ponytail opening is an added and welcome bonus."
"I bought this hat because I am very sensitive to the sun and find when I go in a pool, or on a beach vacation, I don't want my hat ruined by chlorine or salt and I need to wear a hat at all times when in the sun. I have already purchased the Ultra Wide Brim hat and Resort wide brim hat, both which are linen and I don't want them ruined by chlorine or salt water, so I bought this hat in black to wear when I go in the water, and I love that it can be a rain hat as well. I haven't worn in outside yet but it also looks cute. The material feels very soft but the brim stays put due to the internal wire. I love that is has all the same features as my linen hats. I know I will get years of use out of this hat and not have to worry about getting splashed wearing this hat in the water!"
"I bought this hat because I wanted to wear a cute sun hat for lap swimming. It works great for a casual pool or beach day where you want to float or casually hang out in the water or for even aquafit. However, it's not the best for practicing lap swimming. The front of the hat covers my sight when swimming laps but for floating on your back or if you are dog paddling or just treading water."
